Westbury ASC was formed in 1897, making it one of the oldest swimming clubs in the UK.
The club is based at Westbury Swimming pool in Church Street, Westbury. The pool is proud to be the longest serving public swimming pool in the country. The 'baths' were opened 122 years ago (in 1887) and were given to the town by mill owner William Laverton.
The pool measures 22.5 yards (20 metres) x 6.5 metres and is housed in a beautiful redbrick traditional Victorian building.
